Seattle native Mina Williams learned a lot about food and wine as a journalist for national publications. Returning to Seattle following stints in New York, San Francisco and Chicago she wrote for the Everett Herald and found herself working at Blanc & Rouge. Receiving an offer she could not refuse, Mina and her husband Bruce bought the shop and earned the distinction of Certified Sommelier & Certified Specialist of Wine.
Bruce has enjoyed wine during his 40 year marriage to Mina. A former sales pro in high tech, he enjoys the people aspect of the wine industry.
Quill is a new Snohomish resident coming to us from the restaurant scene in Olympia. She is an avid equestian and you might spot her zipping along on one-wheeled skateboard about town.
James is a former sports journalist who fell in love with wine. He has worked in the tasting rooms at some of Woodinville's iconic wineries - Ste. Michelle & Woodhouse to name a couple.
Grace comes to Blanc & Rouge from the culinary side, working on bakery production. That is why her plates are so beautiful! As a student she spent time abroad in the Rhone Valley of France...one of the world's top wine regions. She also works in Woodinville for winemakers at a custom crush facility.
Matt brings years of wine experience to Blanc & Rouge. Born into a wine industry family, he has served tables in top restaurants in his hometown, Sun Valley, since he was a teen.
Arielle's enthusiasm is infectious. She has Northern California restaurant roots and has followed her family to Snohomish. When not keeping pace with Blanc & Rouge's social media she creates jewelry.
